i thought yesterday was tuesday and today felt like friday. this week is off to an odd start! i thus decided to dub today "casual tuesday" and rock the wedge sneakers, leggings and a cozy color block tee.
as i had mentioned in a previous post, i finally gave into the wedge sneaker fad and purchased these beauts from steve madden. now although this trend may be fading in other more "on-trend" parts of the country/world, we here in good 'ole west michigan are still catching up. which has all-in-all worked to my advantage in providing ample amounts of time to decide whether or not to jump on the "wedge kicks" bandwagon. hate to be harsh on the mitten state, but that's our reality! any other midwest gals out there who can relate?

I live in Ohio, and I would agree that it sometimes takes us a while to catch on to trends. I'm also way more skeptical of trends anyway...partly because as a teacher, I don't want to look ridiculous...and as a teacher, I don't have the money to waste on something I'll wear once or twice. :-)

ReplyDeleteoh I can definitely relate! Here in OK, there's only maybe 2 stores that are carrying wedge sneakers. I still get the weird eye when I wear mine! :)
