yes, today i turn 27. SO WEIRD. SO OLD. SO maybe now i'm a GROWN UP. the birthday celebratory weekend has already begun. every friday there's a major hipster-esque dance party at rocky's, a local hole-in-the-wall bar... so for my birthday eve we danced [or more like flailed] the night away. if you're lucky, maybe i'll post an awkward dance video to vine so you can have a glimpse of my gangly moves. good thing ross is just as "amazing" on the dance floor! :) tonight we're off to sushi and some other shenanigans. follow me on instagram or twitter if you're looking for entertainment tonight...
style-wise i'm keeping it pretty casual today considering it's the weekend. might class it up a bit tonight for dinner. mostly likely in all black. shocker!

Glad to hear that you've already gotten your birthday celebrations underway. We only have on birthday every year so why not live it up? I'm sure your moves aren't that bad. You haven't seen anything until you've seen me trying to get crazy on the dance floor! :)
Your outfit in these photos is super cute and seems just right for the casual birthday weekend you have in store. That black and white striped blouse is super cute and balances nicely against your cargo jacket. Cool slightly acid toned jeans go with the rest of the outfit really well without merely just contributing black and those boots are just a nice touch. Like Emily said above, your green nail polish is pretty spectacular. Just the right amount of vibrancy to make the outfit exciting.
