the dripped glitter manicure. my essie "beyond cozy" silver glitter was a wee bit thick, which is why this mani isn't nearly as ombre-esque as i would've liked. word of the wise -- sponges are best for creating bonafide gradient nail art -- i was just in too much of a hurry and decided to carelessly freehand it instead. lesson learned!
the base coat is also essie [i'm a diehard essie advocate] called "power clutch!" paint your base coat and then backstroke with a glitter of your choice to create the "dripped" effect. i chose grey and silver because they're fitting considering the bleak, cloudy and partly snowy january we're having here in michigan. i think it's time for a vacation in the sun...
happy sunday!
