it's official. i'm "halloween-ed" out and technically the holiday hasn't even arrived! on friday i awkwardly danced the night away at BOTTOM 40's halloween shindig with kayley [the ballerina] and alessandra [the cat burglar]. i, however, dressed as an androgynous she-man. have you ever seen the film "victor/victoria" from the 1980s with julie andrews? that's who i was. it was the best i could come up with at the last minute!
anyways... after all the halloween hoopla, ross and i lounged around for the remainder of the weekend. this simple flannel-esque outfit was from our lazy sunday.
the boots i'm wearing have been on my feet almost every day since their arrival last week! for those of you in cooler climates, these boots are ah-mazing for the transition from fall to winter. not only are they pretty B.A., but are cozy + have enough room for heavy-duty winter socks!
... time to seriously start gearing up for a windy winter! BRRRR...
xoxo, blair

Bewitching, eh? Teehee! ;) It probably is because Halloween is in the air!! Thanks for the Twitter love too! :)
DeleteIs it sad that I've never heard of Victor/Victoria? I'll have to look it up. Nevertheless, you looks stunning for a last minute costume. :) I am in loveee with your parka! By the time Fresno gets cold enough to wear heavy coats, it will be March and time for summer again. Haha! But I have my parkas just in case. :) Love the look! <3

not at all ready for the cold weather! met with my local blogger friend today everythingsalwayssunny.blogspot.com and we were CRYING about how windy and cold it was! What do we do when the mitten colds come up? I say hide away with hot cocoa and only emerge to take posts in coats/hats/mittens! :) love victor/victoria aweosme costume idea :) xoxo rachel

I'm not going to lie this is pretty much the exact outfit I wear every day. Some days I wear a skirt and tights instead or a white shirt with my flannel open or a chambray shirt instead of my flannel but this is pretty much it. I went as a lumberjack for Halloween this weekend and everyone joked that I was just wearing my everyday clothes!
