introducing the one-eyed lace bandit! [haha]
this weekend has been girls-only. the hubby was flown out last minute to play for his friend's band, leaving me to my own devices. [muahaha] honestly, i've been rather tame. accomplishing things on my to-do list and relaxing with my close girlfriends.
fairly certain i'm still in newlywed mode though. i definitely love my introvert/girls-only time, but i miss my husband! one of my friends said she was out of the newlywed phase after a couple weeks... we're going on 14 months! either way, i'm going to savor still being slightly mushy-gushy... ;)
this outfit is a bit sultry compared to my normal attire. definitely ideal for a girls night out or a chic date. i "roughed up" the lace-y-ness with a leather jacket, statement lips and massive boots. you know me, i can't go too girlie and whimsical. keepin' it sassy.
and i totally failed on the awkward photo for this post! i'm off my game since ross isn't around to remind me... maybe i'll have to double up next time. but thanks to one of my BFFs [alessandra] for shooting this look for me! :)
xoxo, blair

That dress is gorgeous! I love the asymmetric hem and the black bandeau peeping out. So statement! :)

Haha, after 5 years I relish my alone time. I do miss Jared after the first 24 hours though. But it is nice to just be alone and do whatever you want once in a while. Like maybe sing your heart out to boy bands whilst driving? Or reading fashion magazines all day long. :) I love your your dress and I would have sassed it up too with the leather jacket and boots! <3
