90s grunge happening today.
personally, i'd rather forget the 1990s. wasn't exactly my best decade considering i fell prey to severe teen awkwardness, braces and acne. i remember it like it was yesterday - jamming to boyz II men sporting my old navy olive tech vest and ill-fitted flares from kohls. ah, the good 'ole days!

Oh I love the 90s! But yep, I did experience a lot of awkwardness back then too. Haha. But it's still my favorite decade, I had a lot of fun as a kid (not so much as a teen though) :)

90's horror stories? You mean baggy overalls, baby doll tees, old school Vans, and skorts. Oh yes. Every time I run across a skort in a thrift store, I'm almost tempted to try it on. :) Love your 90's throwback today. The good old plaid around the waist is a must! <3

Haha. The other week I thought my friend had a skort on - I about flipped, I hadn't seen one in forever! False alarm though. It was only loose fitted dress shorts. I was kinda bummed! LOL :)
DeleteThe funny thing was that in the 90's I thought I looked smokin'. Now when I look at photos I just cringe. haha! I often rocked the VERY wide leg jeans and cut off tops and lots of polar fleece. I'm not even sure if that was ever really 'on trend' but I thought I looked good with my fleece jackets and vests. I borrowed my brother's lime green skater pants once and I remember thinking I was the coolest cat at school. HA!
