as promised, blair does business casual! haha, i suppose this is more of an interpretation of biz casual attire. if it wasn't so hot outside i'd totally be rocking my grandma pants and suspenders. the downfalls of [nasty] humid 95 degree weather... ugh... i melt.
we shot these photos on our walk into the office yesterday morning. ross told me i looked like a mad scientist. i think that's code for "babe, you look ravishing in white!" lol
you might also notice that i'm a bit blonder than before. i've decided [again] that blondes [at least this blonde] have more fun! i've laid off the bleach for long enough... back to the scraggly ends and lots of pureology conditioning treatments!
[top: forever 21 // tulip skirt: american apparel // jacket: h&m // earrings: target // shoes: mia shoes inc]
... celebrating america's birthday with a patriotic manicure. happy [almost] 4th of july! anyone have any fun plans for the holiday? we do... relax, relax and relax! ;)
xoxo, blair.

DeleteSimple, gorgeous outfit. Love the patriotic nails too!
ReplyDeleteLoving the hair! I always keep it light in the summer, and tone it down in the winter. I'm already starting to think of rich brown shades for the fall... :) Love your white blazer! Every time I see bloggers wearing white blazers it makes me want to go out an get one. But I know that my little son will come at me full force with ketchup fingers, or strawberry hands. Some unmentionable food that will stain my pretty blazer. So alas, I still don't have one. Maybe in a few years. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, please tell me more about Michigan! I tried looking up the various "sections" of Michigan to see what each had to offer. I like being close to a big city, but not in the middle of it. I'm definitely a suburb girl and I'd like my son to be able to ride his bike and be outside. But not *outside* outside. I'm scared of too many bugs! And close to the lake within like an hour or so is a must! I told Jared if I have to live in a state that doesn't border an ocean, I have to live close to a lake! And shopping and restaurants are always a must too! :) So please share all you can, because it will probably be next year that we find a permanent place to live. My husband says there are a few places to open DirecTV offices in Michigan, so that's why we're considering. It's either there or the Virginia, Carolina area on the east coast.
Hope you have a good 4th of July too! <3

love everything!<3
ReplyDeleteI think the mad scientist totally becomes you, Blair! ;)))
ReplyDeleteReally, though... I love the print on the top and the dark edging... plus amazing manicure as always. Oh and the close up (second pic) looks like a Vogue cover from the late 70s/early 80s - something about the colours and the geometric earrings! So chic, sweetie!!!!
Happy Fourth of July :)
