My all time favourite summer destination is Vancouver, British Columbia. Every other summer I visit my older sister who lives there. It is not a typical summer getaway, as the weather there is usually mild in the summer months, but it is lovely all the same. I love how it is bordered by the ocean and the mountains. It is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have ever been. The locals are friendly, the diversity in the culture and food is amazing, and there's so much to see and do! :)

My all-time favorite destination would have to be anywhere in Marin County California. It's a little north of San Francisco off Highway 1 and it has the absolute best beaches and cute little ocean front towns to find fun antiques. My family used to go camping there all the time. :)

ReplyDeleteI would have to say my favourite summer location is Hvar, Croatia. I travelled all over Croatia last summer and Hvar was one of the last stops. When we got there it felt like paradise, the people were all so friendly, and the surrounding islands are like a dream, literally! You just feel so cut off from everything in the perfect way, and it isn't even expensive to get there, let alone live for a few days! Highly recommended. xx

Last year, I spent my summer in Italy. The rich culture, colorful and detailed architecture, Italian PDA, dog walkers, gelato—and let's not forget the vino—I miss these memories every day! If only I could spend every summer in Italia! <3 Rach

but I've traveled all of the World and to pretty much every state and I have never had better food ANYWHERE!
Best restaurants and plenty of pretty houses to look at and tons to do and you get a tan so fast, you barely even have to sit in the sun

My favorite summer destination would be the whole of Europe! It would be a dream come true to grab a few friends & go back-packing for a month or so. From London, to Spain, France, Italy, Greece, & Hungary, I would be prepared to soak up the culture and sights! I have an incurable case of "wanderlust", so anywhere that would give me the opportunity to fulfill my craving would be satisfactory!

My favorite summer destination is definitely something tropical. I've been twice to Bali (Indonesia) and I love it there! The nature is so incredible beautiful and the people are so nice and caring. And the food (as a food junkie :p) is sooo good!

ReplyDelete& as for summer destination, definitely Costa Rica. It's absolutely gorgeous there and loads to do for an inexpensive price compared to many holiday destinations!
My ultimate summer destination is Norway! My family owns a little house in South Norway that is on top of a hill overlooking a fjord. You can see the ocean from there, and there's a beach right at the bottom of the hill. It's my favorite place in the world :)

When I was a teenager, my parents would rent a cottage in Rhode Island. I loved the beautiful beaches and the delicious clam cakes from Aunt Carrie's dunked in chowder.

I love visiting Corvallis, Oregon in the summer. It is sunny and a perfect temperature all summer in the Willamette Valley. There is no rain yet it is green and full of life. There are so many beautiful places to explore in the town and nearby...hikes in the woods, concerts and wine tastings at wineries, treasures at antique shops, book stores, vintage shops, and art galleries. The coast is a short drive away, so is the desert as well as the mountains. I lived there for 7 years and miss it like crazy.

It holds personal reasons such as that is where I grew up and my parents still live there, but there is also a bunch of fresh water beaches, sand dunes, concerts, festivals, and yummy food places!
