artprize. part 1.

autumn has definitely hit michigan. yippee!!!! cozy knits here i come!

and...

artprize is officially underway so we've been scoping out the exhibits almost every day! if you're not familiar - artprize is basically a HUGE outdoor/indoor 3-week art competition in downtown grand rapids. the whole city is oozing crazy eclectic art around every corner, from artist all around the world. so lately we've been grabbing a cup of joe from madcap and perusing the sites! (and the people watching is quite entertaining too. oh those grand rapidians!)

i'll be sure to post some of my favorite art pieces soon!

gray tuesday.

i lied. 


it's not really a gray tuesday. it's actually beautiful outside! for some reason i'm just attracted to gray... and black.. and any shade in between. kind of, sort of, wishing it was cloudy out. i just loved the dreariness of fall! heh. 


the hubby (don't tell him i called him that) and i are camped out at a coffee shop catching up on emails, work, and whatnot. and so, real life resumes...

i'm 87% sure that we've recuperated from the wedding/honeymoon/transatlantic flights/moving/jetlag/post-honeymoon sicknesses/etc. heh. no one warned me this newlywed business was like running a marathon! :)
