i should be planning for my wedding in 4 days (aiieeee) but... 

i had to share some teasers of the shoot i did this weekend! while ross was away on his "bachelor weekend", i played makeup with the talented aimie vredevoogd! i'd take glittery eyes over smelly men in the wilderness any day :) (love you babe)

this shoot was a blast. nothing like having gold glued to your face, wrapped in tulle, jumping on a trampoline. whew!

one week away until our wedding!

shh... i'm giving you a sneak-peek look at my bridal makeup preview from today. irene (aura skincare & cosmetics) always does a flawless job. i figured since it'll be an evening wedding i'd go for the dramatic eye with a nude lip. you've got to throw in a little sultry action... i mean, it is my wedding. teehee. 

off to hang out with my future sis-in-law. girl's night!!

shot today for aura skincare & cosmetics' fall collection. this was my 3rd official shoot for their company. even with it being a crazy long day, we certainly had a blast! (it got a bit slap-happy toward the end)

the friday hippie: today i had a million-and-a-half errands to run. applied for our marriage license, salon appointment, picked up our new vintage couch (photos to come soon)... it's like there's barely enough time to breath! today's outfit objective: comfort.

wednesday = work day. since i'm limited to black, white & gray for my work wardrobe -- i try to incorporate my own personal spin on this relatively limited color scheme! usually when i'm out shopping i find a few basic staple items that i'm able to easily mix-and-match with my other workpieces and play up with accessories. keep it simple lovelies.

it's officially been 1 years since i traded my foiled roots for ombre color... and i haven't looked back since. but now i'm looking toward changing it up. i'm torned between the half-shave look and dip-dyeing post-wedding... decisions decisions!

the shower.

Today was the day. The long awaited bridal shower. I must say, it was surreal to sit there, realizing that this was my first/last/only bridal shower. i must admit i was sweating profusely opening gifts due to the extreme heat and many onlookers! whew! but what fun to spend time with so many wonderful friends... it simply adds to the joy of this new season of life!
